The short version: Paper Todo does not collect your personal data, does not run ads, and does not sell anything about you to anyone. Your tasks, habits, and logs live on your own device.
All of your workspace data (tasks, habits, trackers, categories, and settings) is stored exclusively in your browser's localStorage under the key tracker_v1. This data never leaves your device and is never transmitted to any server we operate.
Clearing your browser data or localStorage will permanently delete your workspace. We recommend using the CSV export (Settings menu) to keep a backup.
Paper Todo loads a small number of external resources to function. Here is exactly what they are and what they may see:

No analytics, no tracking pixels, no advertising SDKs, no session recording. That's the complete list.
Paper Todo does not use cookies. The only browser storage used is localStorage, which is not transmitted with requests and is not accessible to third parties.
Because we hold no personal data on our servers, there is nothing for us to delete, export, or correct on your behalf. Your data is already entirely yours:
We may introduce optional account-based features in the future (such as cross-device sync). These will always be opt-in. If and when that happens, this policy will be updated to clearly describe what additional data is collected, how it is stored, and how you can remove it. We will never collect data silently.
